Hepsiburada is the result of founder Hanzade Doğan Boyner’s vision to create an online retail site serving all corners of Turkey with the aim of making people’s lives easier. At the core is technology and innovation. Founded in 1998 by five people working from a studio flat in Istanbul, the site started by taking orders online for IT hardware and driving them out to customers. Hepsiburada grew rapidly into an e-commerce leader and has also been serving as an online marketplace for entrepreneurs since 2015. Today, Hepsiburada is a modernizing force, contributing to the digitalization of the retail sector and helping to support SMEs across the country. It is one of Europe’s fastest growing e-commerce companies, reaching 17 million unique visitors on a monthly basis.
Hepsiburada.com is part of Doğan Online, the largest online corporation in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region.

Our corporate purpose is to make people’s lives easier.
Whether you live in a city or in far-flung rural areas, Hepsiburada provides access to over 1,5 million products that make consumers’ lives easier and better. We provide a technology platform that enables entrepreneurship, digital innovation and makes it easier for customers, suppliers and entrepreneurs to connect.
We help entrepreneurs grow their business by giving them access to the largest customer base on the internet.
Tomorrow’s digital leaders
At Hepsiburada our purpose is also to make the lives of girls and women easier. Today’s job market needs graduates that are equipped for the digital economy. There is a shortage of students in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects, and the skills gap is wider for girls.
Hepsiburada aims to empower girls and women to study the subjects that will allow them to thrive in the digital economy through a number of initiatives:
- Providing scholarships for girls to go to university to study STEM subjects
- Developing technology internship programmes for female students
- Offering (remote) training for aspiring female entrepreneurs
